In 2012, a team of passionate designers, shooters, and industry experts
set out to revolutionize handgun performance. Our pursuit of perfection
led to the development of the groundbreaking AF-Speedlock® system, a
unique locking mechanism that allows the barrel to move straight back
without tilting during the firing cycle. This innovative design results
in reduced muzzle rise, minimized recoil, faster target re-acquisition,
and improved accuracy, especially for follow-up shots. Despite being
newcomers to the firearms industry at that time, Archon Firearms entered
the market with a distinctive product, and the Archon Type B pistol has
since become a growing name in the US firearms market, thanks to its
performance-focused features.
